【從象形文字到程式語言：文字、書寫與印刷的悠久旅程】Story of Words
一段歷史該如何被傳誦？一個故事要如何被訴說？一個想法可以怎麼傳達？
文字的誕生燃起文明的火苗，人類開始懂得運用書寫留下各種紀錄，可以是商業交易買賣、或書寫家族族譜、甚至開始講述故事，從古埃及文明的象形文字開始，古埃及人用莎草製作莎草紙，成為最早的書寫工具；古羅馬時期，昂貴的莎草紙逐漸被羊皮紙取代，而在東方則要到好幾百年後的中國，才會發明造紙的技術。
然而在當時，要將這些文字傳遞出去還必須倚賴抄寫員，中古世紀的僧侶在教會一筆一劃地抄寫聖經，透過插圖和故事推廣宗教理念；直到印刷術的發明以及宗教革命後，越來越多的語言被記錄與印刷成書，越來越多的文學家、劇作家、科學家等開始發表他們的作品，人類的文明逐漸盛放。
