Earwig and the Witch, written by the acclaimed fantasy author Diana Wynne Jones (best known for Howl's Moving Castle), is a delightfully witty and enchanting children's novel that inspired the feature-length animated film by Studio Ghibli. The story centers on Earwig, a spunky and headstrong orphan who loves living at St. Morwald's Home for Children, where she can always manipulate everyone into getting her own way.
